The conference takes place on the campus of the University of Denver (DU).
DU is the oldest independent university in the Rocky Mountain region (founded in 1864). It enrolls approximately 4,500 undergraduate and 5,000 graduate students. For more information on DU, see: About Denver
The name of the conference is based on the nickname of Denver - The Mile High City.
