You can stay in a conference hotel near the university, or in campus dormitories, or you can arrange your own accommodation. See the maps and directions page for all locations. Please indicate in the registration form where you wish to stay. The number of rooms available in the conference hotel and in the dormitories is limited and we cannot guarantee accommodation after May 21 (dormitories) and June 4 (hotel). Conference hotel
We expect to house most participants in a conference hotel, the Doubletree Hotel Denver Tech. The hotel is located 200 yards from the Orchard light rail station. The ride from the Orchard station to the University of Denver station takes about 12 minutes. We have booked a block of suites at the hotel. The cost per night per person is $69 in a single room and $34.50 in a double room. These prices do not include local tax, about 10%. There are two separate queen-size beds in one room. If you register, we will send you by the end of April detailed instructions how to book your room at the hotel. Centennial Halls
Centennial Halls are on-campus dormitories for undergraduate students. The rooms are simple and have no air-conditioning. Bathrooms are shared on each floor, and floors are gender specific! The cost per night per person is $30 in a single room and $23 in a double room. Own arrangements
There is no hotel within walking distance from campus, with the possible exception of La Quinta Inn Denver Cherry Creek (see below). If you will not rent a car, your best option is to stay in a hotel near the Southeast Light Rail line, such as:
Some of these hotels have agreements with the University of Denver. To get the discounted price, ask for the DU rate. Of course, there are many hotels downtown Denver. |
