The conference banquet will take place at Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant downtown Denver on August 13, 2013 (Tuesday), starting at 7:30pm. The menu can be seen here. (Please note that this is family style dining and we will choose dishes as a group, not individually.)

To get to the restaurant we will take the light rail, leaving the University of Denver station just before 7pm. We will provide you with roundtrip tickets.

The conference all-day trip will take place on August 14, 2013 (Wednesday). The Arrow Stage Lines bus will depart from a cul-de-sac on E Warren Ave just southwest from Nagel Hall at 7:30am.

We will first be heading for a hike into the Indian Peaks area near Long Lake and Lake Isabelle, a very scenic area about 10,800ft above sea level. A roundtrip hike to Lake Isabelle is about 4.5 miles, with a modest elevation gain of about 500ft. Some participants might prefer to complete a shorter 2-mile nearly flat stroll around Long Lake, while others might decide to go a bit higher up past Lake Isabelle.

After the hike we will visit the city of Boulder.

We are scheduled to return to Nagel Hall at 5:30pm.

Please note that the planned program can change due to weather and/or forest fires.

The price of the trip will be announced later (we anticipate it to be about $40 per person).
