WinGroup 1.0, a rather extensive computer program for some group and loop theoretical calculations. See file readme.txt for details. Programmed by Ales Drapal in C for Unix, and later implemented by Petr Vojtechovsky in C++ for 32 bit Windows. Runs under Windows 95, 98. Freeware. C++ source code provided. Designed as an open package. September 1997.
Installation instructions:
- download the self-extracting file
wingroup.exe into an appropriate folder,
- launch wingroup.exe and delete it after the extraction is complete,
- try to run the application's main file wg.exe. Most likely, IT IS NOT GOING TO WORK. In case the application runs smoothly, you are done,
- otherwise, download the self-extracting file
wg_DLL.exe that contains all needed DLL files,
- if you want to keep the DLL libraries for WinGroup completely separated from your standard Windows libraries, extract the file wg_DLL.exe directly into the WinGroup folder. Note that some of the extracted libraries may already be present in your Windows/System folder (or somewhere else). You might want to delete these duplicate libraries.
- if you don't mind to mix the WinGroup libraries with other Windows libraries, extract the file wg_DLL.exe into the Windows/System folder
- finally, delete the file wg_DLL.exe
