Mile High Conference on Quasigroups, Loops and Nonassociative Systems
 Accommodation & Meals

Here you can find information about accommodation on and off campus, about the meal plan provided by the university, and about restaurants and grocery stores near the campus.

Accommodation on Campus
Since there are no hotels in the immediate vicinity of the campus, we recommend to stay in one of the university dormitories. If you decide to stay on campus please register by April 30. We might not be able to book dormitory rooms past April 30.

You have the following options:
Nelson Hall
Nelson Hall is the newest residence hall on campus. Rooms are arranged into suites. Each suite consist of 2, 4 or 6 single-bed rooms (we will attempt to reserve only 2 and 4 bedroom suites), of a bathroom, and a common room with refridgerator and microwave oven. High-speed internet is available in every bedroom. The building, each suite and each bedroom are protected by an electronic lock. Nelson Hall is located within 2 minute walking distance from Olin Hall (where lectures will take place). There can be 1 or 2 occupants in a bedroom. See the Nelson Hall webpage for more information. The rate is $40 per night/single occupancy, and $29 per night per person/double occupancy.
Centennial Towers
The rooms in Centennial Towers are arranged into suites of 2 to 4 bedrooms. There is a kitchenette and bathroom in every suite. High-speed internet is available in every bedroom. Centennial Towers are located across the campus, about 15 minutes walking distance from Olin Hall (where lectures will take place). There can be 1 or 2 occupants in a bedroom. See the Centennial Towers webpage for more information. The rate is $27 per night/single occupancy, and $20 per night per person/double occupancy.

Meal Plan
The university offers a meal plan for conference participants. Each cafeteria offers about 6 stands with different type of food (pasta, pizza, soups, burgers, vegetarian, salads, desserts, soft drinks, etc.). The cafeterias are located in two residence halls (Nelson Hall, Centennial Halls - right next to Centennial Towers).

Since we have to select the same meal plan for all participants of the conference, we decided on the following:
Sa, July 2 - no meal,
Su, July 3 - breakfast and lunch,
Mo, July 4 - breakfast and lunch,
Tu, July 5 - breakfast and lunch (banquet in the evening),
  We, July 6 - breakfast (all-day trip),
Th, July 7 - breakfast and lunch,
Fr, July 8 - breakfast and lunch,
  Sa, July 9 - breakfast.

In other words, even if you order a meal plan, you are on your own during the arrival day and every evening.

The cost is $5.50 per each breakfast, and $7.80 per each lunch. Thus, if you decide to order the above meal plan, the total cost will be $72. (Breakfast on We July 6 is free.)

It might be possible to purchase individual meals in cafeterias on a walk-in basis, too, but we cannot guarantee this. The cost of each dinner is $8.80.

If you have special meal requests, please let us know in advance.
